To qualify as a Director, applicants must hold a Colorado Director's Letter. As a Director at LPL you effectively operate and manage all aspects of the school, but with the support of a Regional Director, Maintenance staff, and corporate office. You will oversee all of the day to day operations, parent relations, Rules and Regulations, management of the staff, and providing a fun, learning campus environment. You will hire, train, and develop your staff. You will have a lot of flexibility to run your school in your own style, but with the support of a locally operated corporate office. Weekly curriculum themes and materials, staff training, Human Resources, payroll, purchasing, Accounts payable, IT, marketing, and building maintenance are provided or supported by our corporate office.
Anyone who is currently Director Certified in the State of Colorado should seriously consider LPL as a career. Our Director compensation is unequaled in the industry. We are a small corporation running its schools as a large corporate entity. Our Directors enjoy the benefits of running a school for a large corporation, while receiving the benefits a small company has to offer such as: "to us you are not just school # X, YOU ARE AN INDIVIDUAL THAT WE CARE ABOUT, WITH A NAME THAT WE KNOW!" You can also earn monthly bonuses, qualify for a company car with insurance, or earn vacation trips.
As an Assistant Director you are the Director's right hand person, and you help with all aspects of running the center including staff training, staff management, parent relations, Rules and Regulations, curriculum, marketing, and providing a fun, learning campus environment. You are effectively a Director in training, and our first source when hiring a Director.
Early Childhood Teacher (Group Leader)
As a teacher at LPL, you must meet the State of Colorado's requirements for qualifying a Group Leader or Early Childhood Teacher. You will run the classroom. You plan and implement the daily curriculum, but have flexibility to add your own style or creativity. You are responsible for creating an environment that is fun, while still educating the children in your care. Child safety is also a critical aspect of your position. You will evaluate the children twice per year and hold parent/teacher conferences. You are required to have a minimum of fifteen hours of ongoing training per year that we provide. You are provided training to be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions. You have the support provided by LPL to be successful at enriching the lives of children.
As a teachers aid you are not required to have experience or college education as this is an entry level position. You will assist the classroom teacher in running the class, as well as, maintaining a safe and fun environment for the children. You will help with daily curriculum, participate in games, help with craft projects, and have fun with the kids. You are required to have a minimum of fifteen hours of ongoing training per year that we provide. You are required to be certified in Universal Precautions. We provide this training. You have the support provided by LPL and your Lead Teacher, to be successful at enriching the lives of children. We offer financial assistance for Aides that want to get Early Childhood Teacher (Group Leader) qualified.
Do you like cooking for a crowd? You might be a perfect fit as a chef in one of our centers. You would be responsible for meal and snack preparation, following LPL's Cook Book for our nutrition program, ordering food, kitchen upkeep, and in some school, following the Colorado Food Program. You can help provide suggestions and recipes for the LPL Cook Book and be an integral part of our annual special events like our Thanksgiving Feast, Halloween Carnival, Mothers Day Brunch, Father's Day Ice Cream Social, Grandparents Lunch, holiday parties, and more.
Our drivers transport the children to and from local schools and on field trips. This means almost daily field trips during the summer and breaks from public school. If you want to see the town, you sure will! An example of some of our field trips is: Rockies games, Water World, Elitches, River Rafting, Fishing, Hiking, Museums, and much, much more. You can be part of the fun, but you will need a Colorado Drivers License, be at least twenty years old, and have and maintain a clean driving record. You will also be required to maintain certification in First Aid and CPR. We provide this training for you.
